Launch of Official Website

21.06.2009 -- As per decision reached in the Executive Committee Meeting of the Silchar Medical College Alumni Association held at the Alumni Guest House under the Presidentship of Dr.M.K.Dey, an official Website of the Association will be launched in right earnest. Dr.A.S.Baisya is hereby authorised on behalf of the Association to do all the ground work necessary and make arrangements to launch the Website.

Dr.Sandip Swapan Dhar hands over charge 

Dr.Sandip Swapan Dhar hands over charge of Principal, Silchar Medical College to Dr.Mrs.R.A.Sangma, on 9th November 2010 after serving the Institute for a period of 5 years as Principal. He has worked selflessly for the upliftment of the standards of the Institution. Silchar Medical College has seen a sea change during his tenure with all round development in all spheres.
